For Complex Trauma
Found in Personality, Addictive and Dissociative Disorders
Prerequisite:
Participants for the workshop need to have full completion of an EMDRIA approved Basic EMDR Training in order to be eligible.
The
EMDR standard protocol requires modifications in timing, additional
focus on resource development, and strategies designed as to not
overwhelm the client. The purpose of this training course is to
present an overview of strategies--combined within the eight phases
of EMDR-- to help therapists work with difficult populations to get
improved results. This is a fourteen hour EMDR application training
for therapists that have completed the EMDR Basic training. It has
been developed from research applications and clinical case studies
reported by myself and other EMDR therapist.
